Upright Sites builds websites for local businesses — trades, food, clinics, studios. Small enough that the person who writes the page is the person you spoke to, and structured so a week is genuinely enough time.
What we hold to
One conversion point per page
Every page is built to drive one action. If a page is trying to do three things it is doing none of them, and we will say so before building it.
Static files, no lock-in
What you get is HTML, CSS and JavaScript you own. No page builder subscription, no plugin licences, nothing that stops working when a renewal lapses.
Mobile is the real design
Most local-business traffic is a phone held at arm’s length, often outdoors. That is the layout we design first and check by hand on a real device.
No third-party trackers by default
Nothing is loaded from an ad network or an analytics broker unless you ask for it. Fewer requests, faster pages, and a cookie banner you may not need at all.
