Riverside Plumbing & Heating
Concept build. Riverside Plumbing & Heating is a fictional business. This is the site we would build for one like it — the brief is invented, the work is real.
A two-van emergency plumbing firm whose entire enquiry flow runs through one mobile number — so that number has to be impossible to miss.
The problem we designed for
Someone with water coming through a ceiling is not browsing. They are on a phone, one-handed, looking for a number to press. The usual trade site puts a hero image, an About section and a contact form ahead of that number — and the form goes to an inbox nobody watches after six.
What we decided
01
The number never leaves the screen
A sticky callout bar carries the 24-hour number at every scroll position, as a real tel: link so one tap dials it.
02
Three services, no more
Burst pipes, boilers, drainage. A panicking customer can hold three options in their head; nine reads as a directory and gets skimmed.
03
Proof above the fold
Gas Safe number, insurance and response window sit in the hero, because those are the three things that decide whether the call happens.
